The Center for American Studies would like to invite you to participate in a certified weekend course with an American attorney with over 20 years of practical experience, Valery Loumber (Gavrilov & Brooks, Sacramento/Los Angeles) titled “Practical Contract Drafting in English”.
The goal of this course is simple: you will learn how to draft contracts in English from the first to the last clause.
The course will be held on Zoom on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Attorney Valery Loumber has over 20 years of legal experience in the United States, including experience in private practice, as staff attorney for several federal judges, as a lecturer of law, and also as a judge. He received his Juris Doctor degree at University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law (California’s 1st university).
Currently, Loumber is a partner at the litigation law firm of Gavrilov & Brooks with offices in Los Angeles and Sacramento, California. He has extensive experience in appeals, bankruptcy litigation, business litigation, complex federal civil procedure, creditor rights, insolvency, fraud, fraudulent conveyances and other intentional torts. In addition, Loumber regularly advises fellow attorneys on complex litigation cases and teaches lawyers from all over the world.
Every participant will receive a set of materials that can be used as a handy resource after the course (including templates of contracts in English).
All of our courses are certified.
Upon the completion of the course, you will be awarded an official digital certificate signed by the CFAS President. You may then print the certificate at home, use it to apply for various academic positions, or simply post it to your LinkedIn or other professional channels.
The certificate shows the number of hours so you may also use it to satisfy the Continuing Legal Education requirement set by your Bar Association.
