History of art
There are many academic publishing houses in the market. However, their publications in English leave a lot to be desired. This is detrimental to you, the Author, since English is the world’s language of science. It is research in English that is looked favorably at or even required by universities, scholarship committees and organizations providing grants. We want to save you from publishing a book in English filled with grammatical errors and stylistic shortcomings.
At the Center For American Studies Publishing Press, you may be sure that each text submitted in English will meet all formal and stylistic standards. All texts are proofread and edited exclusively by highly qualified native English speakers from British and American universities who possess academic experience in the field of the text.
*Papers can also be submitted for review by the Author/Editor. Each monograph must be reviewed by at least two academics holding a doctoral degree or a higher degree. If the Author/Editor does not submit papers for review, independent reviewers will be selected by the Publishing Press.
All of our monographs and post-conference publications are distributed using the non-commercial open access policy that provides public access to knowledge. The Creative Commons license [(CC BY‑NC‑ND 3.0 PL) Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivs] ensures free access to our publications for all readers, libraries and research institutions.
The open access policy enables maximum benefits for the Author(s) and/or Editor(s) who can freely use the Center For American Studies publications in academia. The open access policy contributes to high citation rates and academic recognition.
Each publication is assigned an individual ISBN number (seperate for its traditional and electronic version). All publications are in the public domain, both on our website and in digital repositories and academic portals. Circulation of each publication depends on the contract between the Publishing Press and the Author/Editor. The Press fulfills the statutory obligation of providing copies of each publication by sending them to the entitled libraries.
