Drafting M&A Contracts [COURSE]

The Center for American Studies would like to invite you to participate in a certified course titled "Drafting M&A Contracts” with an experienced American attorney Jim Chester (Partner at Klemchuk, LLP).

The course is aimed at lawyers who want to master the skill of drafting contracts and supporting documentation related to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

The course takes place on November 14, 2024 on Zoom. Exact hours are provided below.

The course will be conducted by a renowned legal practitioner who worked on M&A transactions. This guarantees the strictly practical, as opposed to purely academic, nature of the course.

✔ You will learn the terminology used by international American attorneys throughout the M&A contracting process.

✔ You will learn how to draft key agreements and supporting documents involved in the M&A process (irrespective of transaction type or industry), such as confidentiality agreement, memorandum of understanding, due diligence report, non-compete agreement, share-purchase agreement, and more.

✔ The instructor will refer to M&A transactions they actually worked on together to illustrate the real-life application of M&A rules and mechanics.

✔ The contracts and documents presented during the course will also pose great value as potential templates for your own professional work in the future.
