Diploma in International Economics & World Politics is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of key issues related to international economics and politics.

The Diploma in International Economics & World Politics program is based on a transatlantic platform for the exchange of ideas and academic cooperation, which will help you understand the most important processes occurring in the fields of economics and foreign policy.

The Diploma in International Economics & World Politics program consists of five 90-minute courses (with Q&A sessions) with experts from the United States and Europe. 

Completing the entire program entitles you to receive the official ,,Diploma in International Economics & World Politics".

David Jones
David Jones

Professor David Jones received a Ph.D. degree in Public Management from the State University of New York and a habilitation in political science from the University of Warsaw. He works at the University of Warsaw since 2005.

He is also a lecturer at the Norwich University, Military Academy of the State of Vermont, where he speaks on global corporate diplomacy and international cross-cultural communication. He specializes in American foreign policy, both historical and contemporary. Having lived in Central-Eastern Europe for many years, Professor Jones combines his knowledge of U.S. foreign policy with his European experience to provide for a unique approach to international relations.

Killion Munyama
Killion Munyama

Prof. Munyama is an economist who graduated from the Poznań University of Economics. In 1998, he worked at the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Zambia. Academic teacher at institutions including the Poznań University of Economics and the Bydgoszcz School of Banking, as well as an English teacher at a high school in Gorzów Wielkopolski. 

Councilor of Grodzisk County (2002-2006) and member of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Regional Assembly (2007-2010, filling a seat vacated by another councilor). From 2011 to 2012, he was a member of the Audit Committee of the Union of Voivodeships of the Republic of Poland. Member of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) party. Member of Parliament since 2011 (7th-8th term), serving on committees for public finance and foreign affairs. Currently a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Collin Anderson
Collin Anderson

Dr. Collin Anderson received a B.A. from University at Buffalo as well as a Ph.D. and M.A. from New York University. His latest interests focus on European Microstates, Civil violence and political messaging, and FDI's impact on civil violence.

 As part of his job at the university, he teaches courses like Politics of Eastern Europe, Russian Foreign Policy, International Relations Problems, and Comparative Foreign Policy. He is an author of “Changes in Russian Propaganda: A Qualitative Comparison of Soviet and Russian Propaganda” and ”The Influence of State-run Media on Peace Treaty Stability and The Influence of State-run Media on Civil War Severity”. Anderson is a member of the American, Midwest and Southern Political Science Association. Currently he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University at Buffalo in New York.

Per Bylund
Per Bylund

Per Bylund, PhD, is a Senior Fellow of the Mises Institute and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Johnny D. Pope Chair in the School of Entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, and an Associate Fellow of the Ratio Institute in Stockholm. 

 

 

He has previously held faculty positions at Baylor University and the University of Missouri. Dr. Bylund has published research in top journals in both entrepreneurship and management as well as in both the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics and the Review of Austrian Economics.

Maciej Turek
Maciej Turek

Dr. Maciej Turek is a political scientist and americanist. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (2012) and currently works as Assistant Professor in the Department of American Studies at the Jagiellonian University Faculty of International and Political Studies. 

 

Recipient of scholarships from the Copernicus Society of America (Dickinson College, USA, 2008), John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin (2009, 2014), Society-Environment-Technology program of the Jagiellonian University (ICPSR Summer Program, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, 2013, and Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis, University of Essex, UK, 2015), and the Kosciuszko Foundation (George Mason University, 2017). Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester (summer semester 2020). Member of the Polish Political Science Association (PTNP) and the American Political Science Association (APSA). From 2015 to 2020, he was the advisor to the American Studies Student Research Club at the Jagiellonian University. Since September 2020, he has been the Director of the Transatlantic Studies program.

All of our courses are officially certified.

Each participant who completes at least 4 out of 5 Diploma in International Economics & World Politics courses will receive a digital Diploma certifying completion of a 10-hour course of study, namely the Diploma in International Economics & World Politics.

The digital Diploma in PDF format can then be used for self-printing, adding to a resume or LinkedIn, or applying for a variety of jobs, universities and grants.

An additional transcript with a grade may be attached to the Diploma if the Participant decides to take the final test (participation in the test is not mandatory, but it is necessary to obtain an additional transcript with a grade).
