Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Center for American & European Studies Studies (entity conducting research activity in an independent and continuous manner) invites you to participate in the International Academic Conference“Children and Youth: Problems, Challenges, Perspectives”

In case of a high number of registrations, we reserve the right to extend the conference, including the date: Saturday 11 April.
Online
Microsoft Teams
Platform
The conference will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm CET (CET is Warsaw/Berlin/Rome/Prague time) in an online format on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In case of a large number of speakers, we reserve the possibility of extending the conference to Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The main goal of the conference is to create a space for multidimensional discussion about children and youth.
We will discuss these issues in the context of development, education, upbringing, and social, psychological, and pedagogical challenges.
We will also discuss the connections between these topics and culture (literature, film, television series, music, games, fairy tales), politics, law, economy, international relations, art, and health.
We will therefore approach the issue of children and youth from the perspective of both the social sciences and humanities (psychology, pedagogy, sociology, philosophy, law, history, anthropology, etc.), as well as in the context of culture, art, medical sciences, and health sciences.
Topics can be of contemporary as well as historical relevance and address any issues concerning children and youth, regardless of their geographical boundaries (Poland, Ukraine, Europe in general – or other countries, such as the United States, China, Brazil, Tibet, Ecuador, Tunisia, Mongolia).
Conference panels will be organized according to chronological and geographical criteria.
We believe in freedom of academic discussion and do not censor speeches for worldview or political reasons. Original and unconventional presentations will always find recognition from the Scientific Committee.
Presentations may be delivered in the following languages:
– English
– Polish
Panels (sessions) during the conference will be arranged accordingly.
